Gerald Richmond
Gerald W. Richmond, 88, of Ooltewah, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017.
Mr. Richmond was born and raised in Aurora, Il. He retired from Emerson Electric in Aurora, IL as a Quality Control Supervisor for 40 years. After retirement he and his wife lived in Cape Coral, Florida.
Family and friends were especially important to him. He was very proud of his two sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved spending time with them.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Norma Richmond; son, Dale (Cyndie) Richmond of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Julie Richmond of Ooltewah; grandchildren, Johnathan Richmond, Jerry Richmond, Elizabeth Richmond, Jeff (Phaedra) Richmond, and Mike (Julie) Richmond; great-grandchildren, Raelyn, Haley, Leo, Lyla, Levi and Elijah;
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Richmond, Sr. and Elizabeth (Wolf) Richmond of Aurora, Ill; brother, Leo (Ella) Richmond, Jr; and son, Jeffrey Lee Richmond, Sr.
All services will be private.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Memorial Hospital and Hospice of Chattanooga for the wonderful care they provided.
