Barbara Huff, 77, of Signal Mountain, Tn., passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
She was born on March 18, 1940, in Harvey, IL, to the late William and Mary Mikesell. She graduated in 1958 from Thorton Township High School. Barbara worked as a legal secretary at American Oil in Chicago from 1965-1968, after making the move to Chattanooga with her husband, then worked for the law office of Strang, Fletcher, Carriger and Walker.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Clement L. Huff; parents William and Mary Mikesell.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Spear of Signal Mountain; son, David ( Carrie) Huff of Hixson; four grandchildren, Brittany (Faruq) Abdur-rahman of Frostburg, MD, Brandon Wise of Lakewood, CO, Michael and Noah Huff both of Hixson; five grandchildren, Breanna Wise, Caleb Longerbeam, Alissa Wise, Yehoshua Adbur-rahman and Majeedah Adbur-rahman.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 28 at 2 pm in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
