Police Investigate Accident On Highway 58

A 2005 Saturn View was travelling north on Highway 58 Saturday about 4:15 p.m. when it was struck on the passenger side by a 1993 Ford F-150.

The accident occurred as the F-150 left the stop sign on Greenwood Road to cross Highway 58.

After the initial impact, the Saturn rolled and during the roll the driver was ejected. The driver was transported by medi-vac helicopter to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries sustained by the driver is not known. The passenger of the Saturn View and the driver of the F-150 were uninjured. 

HCSO Traffic Investigators are on the scene and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
