A 71-year-old woman died in a single-car crash in Whitfield County on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Lawana Dearnell.
The wreck happened around 2 p.m. at Cleveland Highway and Tag Drive.
The vehicle crossed over the center line and ran off the road. It struck a culvert before landing in a ditch.
The car was traveling north on Highway 71 (Cleveland Highway).
