Lori Mull

Lori L. Mull, 47, of Cullowhee, NC and formerly of Cleveland, broke her earthly bonds on Saturday November 25, 2017.

She was a 1989 graduate of Bradley Central HS where she proudly performed with the BCHS Colorguard and Winterguard (Exit 25). Lori also received her Office Administration Certificate from Cleveland State Community College. Lori worshipped with the Woodland Church of Christ in Sylva, NC and loved to visit with her Eastside Church of Christ brothers and sisters when in Cleveland.

Lori was an avid University of Tennessee fan and all that knew her know that. She loved spending fall afternoons watching her beloved Vols and enjoying that time with her family. Lori was a wonderful wife and mother who was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. Her love was contagious and infected each and every person who met her. The spirit she brought into a room lit it up for all present.

Lori was a lifelong Christian whose light would not be hidden. She was bold in the Lord and was glad to share her faith with anyone willing to listen. She was a Godly mother and wife that helped lead her family in their spiritual walk.

Lori was preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Jones Jr, (affectionately referred to as “Lonnie Boy”).

She is survived by her lifelong love, Jason Mull, whom she wed in 1994. Jason is from Cullowhee, NC and formerly of Cleveland, her cherished children Spenser and Katelyn of Cullowhee; parents Lonnie and Margaret Jones of Cleveland; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Stanley Shannon of Benton, sister-in-law, Karen Jones of Blue Ridge, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Dan and Heather Brock of Benton, brother-in-law, Shane Mull of Benton, nephews Daniel Jones of Blue Ridge, Chase (Chelsi) Mull, Sean Brock, Braxton Fowler-Gates, Braylon and Brody Mull of Benton; nieces Allyson and Olivia Jones of Blue Ridge, Chloe and Mallorie Brock of Benton; grandmother Dean Burrum of Spring Hill, TN along with her aunt Sue and uncle Dan.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2017at the East Side Church of Christ with Danny Rogers officiating. The interment will follow in the Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the East Side Church of Christ and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
