Judy Watson
Judy Ann Watson, 66, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Rhea Medical Center.
She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, on April 6, 1951, the daughter of the late John Clay Pelfrey and Mary Louise (King) Pelfrey.
Judy lived in Rhea County most of her life where she was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasantdale Baptist Church. She loved listening to gospel music and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Darlene (Eddie) Watson of Evensville, Zona (Jorge) Lemus of Dayton, Jesse Yakubek of Dayton, her brother, David (Sheila) Pelfrey of Dayton, sisters, Joan Vansittert of Dayton, Vivian (Larry) McNabb of Chattanooga, Vera (Bill) Henderson of Brooksville, Florida. Also, six grandchildren, Aaron (Brittany) Watson of Dayton, Ervin (Joceyln) Palacios of Dayton, Maritza Palacios of Dayton, Brandalyn Yakubek of Dayton, Emmalee Yakubek of Dayton, Kaylee Yakubek of Dayton, and five great-grandchildren, Hannah Watson, Maddison Watson, Emmary Yakubek, William Watson and Teegan Palacios, all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Judy will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bobby Bunch officiating. She will be laid to rest at Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville.
