Covenant Volleyball Draws Birmingham Southern In NCAA Tournament

The Covenant volleyball team will open the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, against Birmingham Southern. The match will take place at the Woodruff PE Center, on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, at 12:30 p.m.

It will be the second meeting this year between Covenant (24-7) and Birmingham Southern (20-8).
The Panthers defeated the Lady Scots in four sets on 
Sept. 2, in Birmingham. Thursday's winner will face either Berry or Hanover on Friday, at 4:30 p.m. The region championship is set for Saturday, at 7 p.m.

Covenant is making its second-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament, with both coming in the last three seasons. The Lady Scots are currently riding a program-record 16-match win streak. Covenant's last loss was Sept. 28 at Emory.
