Stork, Edward, Sr.

Edward Stork, Sr., 83, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at his residence. 

He was the son of the late Edward and Hazel Tate Stork and was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Zarzour. 

Ed was a United States Navy veteran and had served on the USS Pickaway and the USS Franklin Roosevelt.  Ed was a member of American Legion Post #95 and was also a pilot.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Stork; children, Tommy (Lana) Thompson, Tracey (Mike Manley) Stork, Tonya (Raymond) Chastain, Eddie (Johnny Lee) Stork, Jr., sisters, Susie David and Sharon Crook; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Thompson, Matt, Savannah, and Marc Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Carrie and Anna; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers,  memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Mary Helen Lee, 96, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, in a local health care facility.   She was a life-long member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the J.O.Y Sunday school class and the Clark Circle. Sarah Jane Nations Hammontree, 83, of Dalton passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Hamilton Medical Center.   She was the daughter of the late J.C. Attorney Davis Says Other Driver In Styles Case Pulled Gun While Driving Wildly; Denies Radio Host "Blacked Out"

Attorney Lee Davis said the other driver in a Friday road rage incident in Hixson pulled a gun on radio personality Jeff Styles while driving wildly.  He denied that the talk show host blacked out.  Jeff Styles, who was shot in the forearm, was charged with aggravated assault and vandalism.
