Pauline Dunn
Pauline Dunn, 92, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
She was born April 1, 1925 to the late Jadie and Oma Hickerson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jake Dunn; sister, Hettie Churchwell; and a brother, Melvin Hickerson.
Mrs. Dunn was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a natural caregiver and true friend helping anyone who was sick or in need. She helped raise generations of children and was affectionately known as MomMom by everyone.
Survivors include her children, Sue (Bill) Flock, Bobby (Nita) Dunn, Faye (James) Pitman,, Randy (Karen) Dunn, and Anne (Paul) Merriam; sister, Lottie Mathis, Bernice Mercer, Mary Dean Marlen, all of Linden, Tn.; her twin sister, Olean Mercer of Dyer, Tn.; grandchildren, Dale (Cindy) Jones, Gwen (Carlos) Hood, Jay (Valerie) Pittman, Michael (Jenna) Dunn, Bobby (Kristen) Adams, Matthew Dunn, and Alan (Amanda) Dunn; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held a 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday.
