Edward “Eddie” Lebron Wint, Sr., 65, of LaFayette, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillary Wint and Mildred Brown Wint; brothers, Hillary Wint, Billy Wint, Bobby Wint, and Johnny Fairbanks.
He is survived by his wife, friend, and companion of 48 years, Brenda Wint of LaFayette; sons, Matt Wint of LaFayette and Rev. Eddie (Diane) Wint Jr. of Cairo, Ga.; grandchildren, Brandon McDonald and Matthew A. Wint; sisters, Bonnie Fairbanks of Resaca, Ga., Pat Smith and Sue Johnson, both of LaFayette; brothers, David Wint of OK, Henry Wint of Cartersville, Ga., and Freddie Wint of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Rock Spring Cemetery with Reverend Edward Wint Jr. and Reverend Beaver Robertson officiating.
Pallbearers are Nevin Gentry, Cameron Poarch, Chris Fairbanks, Tim Outlaw, Rusty Robertson, and Johnny Smith
Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, and Saturday from 12-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
