Brenda Gayle Minor, 72,  died on Thursday, November 9, 2017

She was born July 11, 1945, in Clover, SC to the late George and Madge Boheler.

She retired from the State of Tennessee after more than 20 years of service. Brenda attended Life Gate Baptist Church in Hixson.

Her husband Al Minor preceded her in death.

Brenda is survived by her children, Gayle Minor, Keith Minor, and Brooke (Patrick) Minor Robinson; grandsons, Damon and Seth Robinson; sisters, Sue (Bob) Beebe and Karen Anderson; and brother, George (Pat) Boheler.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 10, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.

Funeral service for Brenda will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the North Chapel with Rev. James Dunn officiating. 

Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.

James Michael "Mike" Ivey, 71, of Rock Spring, Georgia, left this world all too soon after a brief illness.  Mike was a sergeant in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was instrumental in bringing digital claim technology to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee before later retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. Donald (Don) Coy Douglas, age 72, of Dalton, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Coy Douglas; and mother, Bertha Jo Douglas.
