M.L. King Boulevard Welcomes New Retailer

  • Monday, December 11, 2017

The revitalization of Chattanooga’s MLK neighborhood takes another step forward with the addition of a new woman-owned retailer. “423 Saint Francis is a start-up apparel store offering emerging brands to men and women, said owner, Lauren Turner. "Located on M.L. King Blvd., the space is filled with a mix of modern and transitional furniture, displayed eclectic record collection and pool table to provide an experience for people who celebrate life."

“We could not be more excited to play a part in bringing another new business to MLK,” said Riverside Development President Chris Curtis.

As apartments are nearing completion on the second floor of this mixed-use development, plans are now underway to add even more restaurants, retail and housing throughout the MLK district.

Ms. Turner, who originally formed the concept in 2014, was inspired by many different retailers she visited in other parts of the country. Each item is carefully chosen to be comfortable, simple and modern, she said. 423 Saint Francis will open at 423 M.L. King Blvd. later this month.
