Helen Brown Porter, passed away on December 10, 2017, at her home. She was 91.
Although she had been in bad health for years, she always had a smile on her face.
She and her husband had two sons, Mitchell and Stanley Porter; one daughter, Sheree Rousseau; two grandsons, Craig Porter and Jonathan Rousseau; two granddaughters, Stephanie Broe and Taylor Rousseau; three great-granddaughters: Brianna Dass, Sienna Broe and Isabella Rousseau; one great-grandson, Zander Broe.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 62 years, Milton Porter; her parents, Floyd and Linnie Brown; five sisters: Mary Lee, Edna, Beulah, Ruth and Pauline; three brothers: Howard, Lindsay and Robert.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 1 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home with Reverend Amy Nutt officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
She will be buried in the National Cemetery with her husband, Milton.
