Ronald Carpenter
Ronald Richard Carpenter, 71, of Georgetown, Tennessee, passed away on December 14, 2017.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1946, to the late Carroll and Winnie Carpenter. Ron was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed reading and photography.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years, Sue Carpenter; son Mark Richard Carpenter and two sisters Carol Harder and Winnie Overton.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, at Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time on Monday at the church. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
