Richard E. “Peanut” Gladney, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017 in a local hospital, surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Gary Harris officiating.  Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Zac Gladney, Steve Gladney, Shane Gladney, Tommy Lang, Scott Gladney, Josh Stiles, Steve Merciers, Michael Brooks, Stanley Stiles, and B.J. Goins serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4–8 p.m. and Tuesday, from 12-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.

Hubbard Indicted By Grand Jury In Case In Which Rape Was Live Streamed On Facebook

The Hamilton County Grand Jury has indicted Sherman Hubbard on a charge of conspiracy to commit rape in a case in which police said a rape was live streamed on Facebook.
