Brittany Boyd, 32, Struck By Train Near South Market Street

A woman was struck on a train near South Market Street on Saturday afternoon.
 
The incident happened at 4:45 p.m. near 2900 Market.
 
Police said the incident occurred on the railroad tracks that pass under the bridge approximately 1,000 yards east of 2900 Market.
 
Brittany Boyd, 32, was walking near the tracks when she was struck by a train operated by CSX.
 
She was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
