James Wright
James Christopher Wright II, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away at his home and was received into the hands of the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2017.
Jim was a skilled craftsman and a member of the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul in Chattanooga.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. James Christopher Wright; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Tullos and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob George Wright; sister, Alice Virginia Wright Wallace; and nephew, Jefferson Wright Camp.
Jim is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Masters Wright; sons, James Christopher Wright III and Matthew Edgar Wright (Shay) of Ellijay, Georgia; step-daughters, Beckie Masters Johnson of Chattanooga, Amanda Fauscett Grossman (Ray) of Cohutta, Georgia and Carol McClure Watson, of Blue Ridge, Georgia; stepson David Reagan of Ellijay; grandchildren, Jasmine , Jimbo, and Maddie Wright of Ellijay; and step-grandchildren Timmy Johnson and Josh and Jonathan Fauscett of Cohutta. Jim is also survived by sisters, Ann Wright Bell and Mary Wright Hutson (Dean) of Signal Mountain. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McKamey Animal Center, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415 or the Chattanooga Forgotten Child Fund, 3000 Alton Park Boulevard, Chattanooga, Tn. 37420.
A private family memorial service will be held.
