Gerald York, 56, Shot On North Tulip Avenue Early Sunday Morning

Gerald York, 56, was shot early Sunday morning on North Tulip Avenue.

At approximately 12:52 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to North Tulip Avenue on a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. HCEMS transported the victim to a local hospital. 

 Investigators are still attempting to determine the exact location of incident. Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident.
