Here upcoming road closures for Saturday:
Lookout Valley Christmas Parade:
This parade, now in its 27th year, will take place from 12 p.m.
until 1:30 p.m. along Browns Ferry Road and Cummings Highway. The line up is at 10:30 a.m. at Lookout Valley Elementary, and will end at John A. Patten Recreation Center followed by an open house at the recreation center.
A Christmas Tail 5K & Mutt Strut: St. Elmo Ave. will be closed from Tennessee Avenue to W. 38th St. In addition, runners will be in the road on St. Elmo Ave. from W. 38th Street to Middle Street. Closures will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The annual event is A Christmas themed 5K and 1 mile Mutt Strut benefiting the Humane Educational Society. Visit www.heschatt.org for more information.
