Accusations And Nonsense

  • Monday, December 4, 2017

Roy, if your 'prominent' friend has witnessed all this drug transaction, and it's not just another 1906 remax,  why hasn't he gathered evidence to present before the city council? Surely, if he's 'as prominent' as you  claim, and can afford to have an office downtown, he can afford video equipment to gather evidence to support his accusations.

Although you don't name the store, I know the area you're referring to because this same 'prominent' individual has complained before. By the way Roy, the last time I was down around that area I never saw any planters of any kind near that store. That's the first hint your article and your "prominent-friend" are full of nonsense.

These same exaggerations and lies took place several years ago in the community I live and played a role in a store owner losing their business. But they're doing fine in another state without all the bias and pretense otherwise. Those same lies also may have played a significant role in a Korean store owner losing her life when neighbors complained about the type of 'clientele' entering and exiting her store. Due to neighbor complaints and police harassment she was forced to discourage her usual customers who'd been patronizing her business for years, long before the newcomers moved in, from coming to the store so much. The robber who robbed her store and took her life admitted on that day he was out looking for a store to rob that appeared isolated with no customers coming and going. The store owner, who'd been a staple in the community for decades and loved by many was Mrs. Ok-Hui Brown. Known to the children, and very much loved (she was like a second mom), as Mrs. Okie. Her husband, John Brown, was a war veteran who didn't live much longer after she died. The community was St. Elmo.

So, Roy, you can understand why these "accusations" without evidence must be taken with a whole salt mine. From 1906 to 2006 and whatever comes next? Same thing, different day, different strategy.
