Two-Way Conversion Study Public Input Meeting Set For Thursday

  • Monday, December 4, 2017

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation (CDOT) is studying the possibility of converting downtown one-way streets back to two-way streets, and invites the public to a kickoff meeting on Thursday to learn more about the two-way conversion study, what streets are being studied, and how to be involved.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m.

at the Development Resource Center (DRC), 1250 Market St., Room 1A, Chattanooga, Tn. 37402.

CDOT is exploring this possibility in response to citizen recommendations from downtown planning sessions including the Chattanooga Forward Downtown Task Force and the City Center Plan.

Visit the Downtown Two-Way Conversion Study website at http://connect.chattanooga.gov/cdottwoway/ for more information about the study and to see a map of the streets being considered.
