Jake Coffelt “Big Jake”

Jake Coffelt, “Big Jake”, 40, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 1:11 p.m. 

Those whom knew Jake knew he had a big heart as everyone said he was like a big teddy bear. He left a big impact own everyone. You will be truly missed by family and friends. We all love you (Big Jake). 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garry and Judy K. Coffelt. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy Dee Coffelt; brothers, Chris (Tia) Coffelt, Shawn (Jennifer) Kouns; stepchildren, Billy Jr. and Ameilia R. Heard, all of Pikeville, Tn.; grandchildren, Billy Peyton Heard, Sadie Marie Swafford and Arlis S. Heard, all of Pikeville; nephews, Tyler and Nick Kouns; niece, Emma Coffelt; and special friend and brother, Bubba (Felicia) Gibbs. 

There will be a memorial service held in Jake’s honor at a later date.
