Veda Sears Plemons, 91, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Monday, December 4, 2017.

Veda was born in Arkansas on January 15, 1926. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Monroe Plemons.

Survivors include her son, Jesse Plemons; daughter, Theresa Wright; grandson, Forrest Wright; and sister-in-law, Katherine Horton.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brady Wood officiating. Veda will be interred beside her beloved husband, Forrest, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
