Tinker, Geneva (Trenton)

Geneva Tinker, 90, passed away December 5, 2017. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Geneva was a member of Trenton Church of Christ for over 70 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude D. Tinker; parents Jim and Avie Abbott; brothers Waymon, Leroy and Dewitt Abbott.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda T. Crawley, Chattanooga; sons Lebron Tinker, Ringgold; Philip Tinker, Slygo, and Darrell Tinker, Trenton; sisters Mamie Clark and Lois Cross; brothers J. C. Abbott, Elmer Abbott, and Larry Abbott; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Minister Wayne Miller, Minister George Cupp and Minister John Cupp officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m.; Friday 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Martin Boyd Christian Home, 6845 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
