Veal, Peggy Ann Adams

Peggy Ann Adams Veal, 58 of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed from this life on September 2, 2017.

She was a housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and loved gospel music. She was a graduate of Chattanooga City High School. As a young teen she enjoyed being a part of the Volunteer Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. Later she spent time in the United States Army.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Ann Adams; her husband of 20 years, Dewayne Veal; her brother, Tommy Johnson; her sister, Susan Adams; her sons, Derrick Veal, Scotty (Leah) Veal, Brent (Christina) Veal; daughters, Sandy (Lee) Derryberry and Kristy (Chuck) Gold. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at Payne’s Chapel in Hinkle, Ga. Internment will follow at the Payne’s Chapel Cemetery.
