Ella Marie Kendrick Wall, 93, of Ft. Oglethorpe, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was born to the late Ernest and Onie Baxter Kendrick in Ellijay, Ga., has been a lifelong resident of north Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. Ella was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas P. Wall; siblings, Adele, Bill, Effie, Joe and Ken; and grandson, Dale Tatum.
Ella is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Lebron Tatum of Bentonville, Ar., Judy and Chuck Brown of Ft. Oglethorpe, Gail and Bill Davis of New Smryna Beach, Fl. and Debbie and Rodney Benton of Ft. Oglethorpe; brother, Steve Kendrick; six grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, with Chaplain Dan Barton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
