Nancy Carolyn Taylor, 74, of Rossville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday. December 7, 2017. She was faithful and dedicated member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle for 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother of four daughters, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Christine Ross; brother, Otha Ross; beloved son-in-law, Leon Hogsed.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Clarence Taylor; four daughters, Nancy Jane Hogsed, Tammy (Brian) Thomason, B. J. (Greg) Jetter and Angerleak (John) Kile; son, Eddie (Kim) Taylor; honorary son, Dr. Scott (Beth) Mitchell; brothers, Leonard Ross, John A. Ross, Sr., Teddy (Connie) Ross; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; several foster children.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Steve Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 8 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
