Lillie Mae Cochran Turnipseed, 78, of Villanow, Georgia, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, J. C. Harmon and Gladys Cook Harmon; first husband, George Collian Cochran; second husband, Roy Monroe Turnipseed; two sisters, Nellie West and Florene “Flossy” Lindsey.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy R. Anderson; one grand daughter, Ashlea Anderson; three sisters, Frankie Brown, Betty Hasty and Patsy White; four brothers, Charles Harmon, Troy Harmon, Larry Harmon and Ronald Harmon; brother-in-law, Bobby Lindsey; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 10, from 5-9 p.m. at the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Billy Joel Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home until the hour of service.
