Harrison, Jesse Mack Jr.

Jesse Mack Harrison Jr., 74, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his home.

He was born on October 22, 1943 in Macon, GA to the late Jesse Sr. & Dorothy Harrison. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Red Bank. Jesse was a skilled woodworker, welder, ordained minister and founded the southern gospel singing group- "The Damascus Road". He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United State Army after faithfully serving his country.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter Teresa Diane Harrison; angrandparents Clara & James Taylor; and one brother Jimmy Harrison.

Jesse is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 18 years Cindy Trowell Harrison; two daughters Katherine Deputy (Donn) of Windsor, CO and Angela Warren of Greeley, CO; one son William Taylor (Brenda) of Avon Park, FL; four grandchildren Alora Schreiber, Samantha Byrd, Orion Taylor and Broke Cox; one great-grandchild Camden Mauch; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends. 

A memorial celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, February 12 at 2 p.m. at Covenant Baptist Church located 5502 Dayton Blvd in Chattanooga, with the Reverend Gladden Coe and the Reverend David Massey officiating. 

Companion Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
