Wanda “Jean” Lewis, 70, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
She was born on September 6, 1946, to the late D.L. and Juanita Geren. She retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital with 30 years of service. She loved camping on the river, and especially loved her two dogs, Baby and Kate. She was a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don Lewis; siblings, Jo & Allen Newbury, of Florida and Dale & Sherry Geren of Cleveland; very special aunt, Mary (Boots) Hampton; two special caregivers, Debra Wells and Steven Higgs; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service is planned for 7 p.m. on Monday, February 13, at the Ridgeview Baptist Church, located at 1501 S Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN, 37311, with Pastor Ken Purdy officiating the service.
The family will receive friends three hours prior, from 4-7 p.m. service time at the church. Interment will take place on Tuesday, February 14, at 10:30 a.m. in the Candies Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
