The Chattanooga Mocs finish off a three-game road trip with a visit to VMI Wednesday night. The Mocs continue a tight battle atop the Southern Conference standings.

Furman leads at 12-2 after a Monday night win at VMI. ETSU is second at 10-3 followed closely by UTC and UNCG at 9-4. Wofford rounds out the top 5 with an 8-6 mark.

The Mocs are shooting for a school-record 18th road win over two seasons. It would be the 25th over the last three. The program had 26 road wins the previous seven campaigns before this run.

They face a VMI squad that won the earlier meeting in Chattanooga 80-64.
It’s powered by the SoCon’s leading scorer Q.J. Peterson at 20.3 points per game. He also ranks in the league’s top 10 in rebounding (7th, 6.5), steals (7th, 1.5), 3pt made per game (4th, 2.7) and defensive rebounds (3rd, 4.8).

The game airs on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. It broadcasts over the airwaves on Real 96.1 FM in Chattanooga and worldwide via GoMocs.com as well as the iHeart Radio and TuneIn apps.
