Blood Drive To Be Held In Catoosa County For Prison Fire Chief Matthew Mann

  • Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Walker County will be sending a small group to a blood drive in Catoosa County in honor of Prison Fire Chief Matthew Mann on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. The group will include Walker County Fire Chief and Emergency Services Director Blake Hodge. Many of firefighters have already given blood in support of Chief Mann, so not all are eligible this time.

Chief Mann continues to recover from injuries suffered during a serious crash on Jan. 19. He received over 50 units of blood while in the ICU.

Blood Assurance will be holding the blood drive at the Catoosa County Fire Department from 12-5 p.m. at Fire Station 1, 5282 Evitt Street in Ringgold.
