Chattanooga State Hosts Free Health And Wellness Fair March 3

The 10th annual Health and Wellness Fair on March 3 is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Community Health Institute at Chattanooga State, attendees can participate in health screenings, view exhibits from local health professionals, and speak with health professionals for one-on-one consultations. The fair, open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., will be held in the Health Science Center located on the main campus of Chattanooga State, 4501 Amnicola Highway. Free parking is available.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office will conduct “Operation Medicine Cabinet” a drug take back program where anyone can safely turn in unwanted medications for proper legal disposal. Main sponsors for the 2017 event include CVS and Chattanooga Cares.
