Howard Ovel Wilson, 77, of Haletown, Tennessee, died on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
The son of the late Gordon and Edna Tuders Wilson, Ovel was also preceded by his companion Susebelle Williams. He was a member of the United Church of God in Trenton, Ga.
Ovel is survived by his children, Kathy Wilson, of South Pittsburg; Ronald Wilson (Carla), of Orme, Tn.; Kevin Wilson, of Conroe, Tx.; Lillie Maul (Mike), of Whitwell; Dannette Hull (Bud), of Rossville; Johanna Davis, of Whitwell; Eric Wilson, of Haletown; Kerrie Wilson, of Whitwell; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Reed Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 22, with Brother Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Laynes Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 20, from 4-8 p.m. CST, and Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 12-8 p.m. CST.
