Teressa Ann Cross, 69, of Benton, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, at her residence.
She had lived in this area her entire life. She loved her family and was a devoted Christian lady who always kept a prayer list to pray for others. She loved reading and writing and had composed many poems as well as writing plays for the children to perform at church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cross; parents, Eulis McCann and Helen Crawford McCann; and one brother, Farrell McCann.
She is survived by four children, Tim Cross and wife Stephanie of Athens, TN, Paul Cross and wife Carmella of Benton, TN, Sarah Tejada and husband Carlos of Chatsworth, GA and Hannah Crist and husband Darryl of Benton, TN; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Joan McCann Early.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will be follow at Benton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
