The 2017 Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will be held Friday, March 3, through Sunday, March 5. The 26.2 mile course provides a great experience for the first-time or experienced marathon runner by providing a safe course with plenty of well stocked aid stations, spectator support, and a finish line experience with live music, food trucks, and a vendor expo.
The full marathon weekend includes an Expo, Kids Fun Run, 5K, Team Relay, and a Half and Full Marathon.
There will be a free concert on Friday, March 3, at the First Tennessee Pavilion, 1826 Reggie White Blvd. From 5-7 p.m. will be the Michelob Ultra Kick-Off Party, happy hour, and a free, outdoor concert featuring Strung Like A Horse .
On Sunday, March 5, the concert lineup will include:
9-9:45 a.m. Knob Creek Girls
10-10:45 a.m.: Rick Rushing and the Blues Strangers
12-12:45 p.m.: Kofi Mawuko and the Ogya World Music Band
An official Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon Toyota 4 Runner, sponsored by Capital Toyota and Lexus of Chattanooga, has been cruising the streets of Chattanooga.
