Phyllis Ann Smith Campbell, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Miracle Lighthouse Church of God for 25 years and she loved singing, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family.  She was a supporter of the Paralyzed Veteran of America, and the Father Flanagan’s Boys Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jake Campbell, daughter, Sharon Hornbuckle, grandsons, John Davis and Phillip Hester, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Karen Dykes, Wilma (Lee) Griffith, and Pat Hicks; sister, Carolyn (Robert) Trimble; grandchildren, Sherry (Tim) Dover, Kimberly Beavers, Randy Ellison, Danny (Michelle) Ellison, Robbie (Chrissy) Wright, Jason Ford, and Katie Tucker; several great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, at 11:30 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Hank Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 2–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
