Tammy Lee Rector, 51, of East Ridge, Tennessee and formerly of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Rector was born in Oneonta, AL on December 25, 1965, daughter of Bert Hathcock and the late Margaret Lee Siffles. She was an avid Tennessee Vols Fan, loved NASCAR, and was employed as a bartender with EJ’s Tavern.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Rector was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Hathcock.
Mrs. Rector is survived by her father and step-mother, Burt and Nancy Hathcock; sons, Jeremy Evans and Justin Blansit; brothers, Tim Hathcock, Vernon Ash and Michael Hathcock; sisters, Shannon Pierce and Tina Hathcock; grandchildren, Jace Kayne Ratliff and Cayden Lee Garrett; special friend, Mark Dunn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside and Interment Services are tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, February 24, in the West Hill Cemetery with Mr. Hollis Siffles, Sr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be Justin Blansit, Jeremy Evans, Vernon Ash, Tim Hathcock, Hollis Siffles, Jr. and Roger Siffles.
Mrs. Rector will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday from 3-5:30 p.m.
