Tranco Logistics Adds To Team

Locally owned transportation company Tranco Logistics announces the new vice president of Sales and Operations for their OTR department, Brian Starnes.  Mr. Starnes is part of a strategic growth plan that Tranco has put in place for 2017. 

Mr. Starnes came to Tranco Logistics in 2016 from Lesco Logistics where he served as director of Operations, Sales, and Safety. He has held the roles of Brokerage sales executive, national manager of Dispatch and Invoicing, account manager, and branch manager trainee which makes him a valued addition to the Tranco team. 

Mr. Starnes earned a bachelor of science degree in management from The Citadel in Charleston, SC via a football scholarship. He is a certified transportation broker and enjoys staying involved in the industry as VP of the NW Georgia Transportation Council. He is a native of Norcross, Ga. and currently lives in Chattanooga with his wife, Callie and their two sons, Brody and Brooks.
