Helen Marie Smith, age 59, of Pikeville, died Friday, February 24, 2017. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Smith of Pikeville; granddaughter, Kourtlyn Smith of Pikeville; grand-kitten, Ace B. Smith; sister, Rowena Swanner of Pikeville; brother, Lebron "Steve" Smith of Cleveland; aunt, Wilma "Squeakie" Holt of Newburn, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bill Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in Hendon Cemetery.

The arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Pikeville. Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, from 4-9 p.m.
