For more than five months, 12 Tyner Middle School students worked with instructors from the Urban League’s Project Ready STEM Academy to prepare them to compete in their first regional robotics tournament. This tournament, the Super Regional Robotics Tournament, was held last month at Georgia Tech.

Tyner Middle School’s Robotic Team competed against hundreds of other Georgia and Tennessee schools and their hard work definitely paid off as the team placed fifth place in the overall regional competition.
