Hamilton County Schools Closed Friday Due To Illness Outbreak

Due to the spread of illness across the region, Hamilton County Schools will be closed on Friday.

School Age Child Care will also be closed so custodial crews can fully disinfect affected schools.

Due to the school closings in southeast Tennessee, Commissioner Candace McQueen will postpone visits to Hamilton and Sequatchie counties. They will be rescheduled.

Chattanooga Christian School and Notre Dame School will also be closed Friday.

Other Friday school closings include Bradley County, Cleveland City, Grundy County, Marion County, Polk County, Sequatchie County, Bledsoe County, McMinn County, Meigs County, Monroe County and Walker County.
