Roy B. Lovin, 88, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017, in a Chattanooga Hospice Facility.
He enjoyed gardening, working with his flowers and spending time outdoors. He was a member of Grace Way Chapel and spent most of his days serving the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Vines Lovin; parents, Joe and Maggie Elizabeth Lovin; and siblings, Carl Lovin, Martha Lovin, Herman Lovin, Earl Lovin, Sterlin Lovin, Guy Lovin, Cleo Lovin, Velma Lovin and Cassie Lovin.
Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Myers of Cleveland; granddaughter, Lela Casson of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, March 3, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend David Crump and the Pastor Ronnie Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in McInturff Cemetery with Rusty Everett, John W. Rymer, Chris Grauley, Kevan Rymer, Evan Rymer and John A. Rymer serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the funeral home and on Friday, March 3, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. prior to the service.
