Anderson Trip To Washington Raises Questions - And Response

Re: Chattanoogan story, Chris Anderson of District 7 goes to Washington to oppose President Trump's cuts to wasteful programs:

The press release cites that the regional version of the National League of Cities may be sending and funding Councilman Anderson on the mission to save the cities from President Trump in Washington. Let me be very clear, the funds of the National League of Cities are simply our tax dollars passed through to the organization to lobby and support an alt left agenda.

The National League of Cities is a membership fee-grabbing organization that we, the taxpayers, fund in the city’s annual budget.

Annually, the city of Chattanooga converts our hard tax dollars for membership in all these wasteful organizations, National League of Cities, Tennessee Municipal League, and my personal favorite the Municipal Technical Advisory Service. These are nasty organizations that have their hands deep in the taxpayers' pocket.

Ask Councilman Anderson how much wasteful membership fees are taxpayer funded.

Councilman Anderson did not disclose that taxpayer funds are dumped in these organizations in annual membership fees to send him to Washington. If National League of Cities is not paying the expenses, is the city of Chattanooga?

Councilman Anderson, we could have saved the city a lot of travel expenses, because President Trump has arrived in Tennessee, as you hit the runway to Washington.

Just why are funds being used to send Anderson to Washington?

Right you are, Ms. Eidson.  If anyone is interested in what is driving all this "alt" stuff, they can get a real education by going to Wikipedia and searching New World Order (both the Conspiracy Theory and Politics).  The short-lived term of Dave Crockett as sustainability guru in the past mayor's office is an outgrowth of that movement made possible by Obama's executive action setting up a Council of Mayors for Democrats who chose to participate.  Littlefield signed up.  The governors were not invited.  Crockett was appointed to represent the U.S. in the last meeting of the  international sustainability group in Brazil some time ago before he was brought in by Littlefield.

Some very interesting reading here at this particular time in our history.
