Nashville – Backstage Nashville Live! Daytime Hit Songwriters Party features Jim Lauderdale, Bill Lloyd, Cory Batten, Ray Stephenson and Jeremy Campbell beginning 12:30 p.m.

March 17

Jackson – Enjoy the Cash & Cline Concert starring Kellye Cash & the West TN Strangers as she performs hits from Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and more 7:30-10 p.m. CT at Ned Mc Wherter Cultural Arts.

March 17-18

Gallatin – The Rocky Horror Picture Show plays 8 p.m. CT and 11 p.m. CT at the Palace Theater.

Knoxville – Marble City Opera presents an interactive production of Verdi’s “La Traviata” as an aim to draw audience members into the life of the opera’s central character, Parisian courtesan Violetta. Masquerade masks will be provided for each guest as they become part of the ball to begin the opera 7:30-9:30 p.m. ET at Historic Westwood. Tickets are $25.

Memphis – The Spring Fling Garden Show and Plant Sale offers educational seminars from regional and local experts, a gardening photo booth, lots of children’s activities and a sale that includes more than 2,000 plants and bulbs in a range of selections 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT at the Big Red Barn of the Farmer’s Market on the Agricenter grounds.

March 17-April 8

Clarksville – Seussical: The Musical brings the world of Dr. Seuss to life on stage 8 p.m. CT on Fridays and Saturdays; 7 p.m. CT Wednesdays and Thursdays through April 8; and 2 p.m. CTMarch 25 and April 1 at the Roxy Regional Theatre.

Cookeville – Enjoy some pints and poses during Yoga at the Silo 10 a.m. CT at Red Silo Brewing Co. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $10, benefitting the Cookeville Rescue Mission.

Erin – Irish Day hosts a parade, food, and entertainment, the largest Irish Day celebration and parade in this area, in downtown Erin.

Nashville – Enjoy the opening of Jack Spencer’s exhibition “this land, an american portrait, on display through April 15, and book signing 4-7 p.m. CT at David Lusk Gallery Nashville.

Nashville – Cheekwood in Bloom features six weekends of family activities, entertainment and natural inspiration all with a backdrop of 100,000 tulips through April 23 at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens.

Nashville – Award-winning Chef Maneet Chauhan conducts a cooking demonstration and tasting featuring cilantro, the herb of the year, 2:30 p.m. CT at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens.

Statewide – Welcome springtime in a Spring Hike guided by park staff who speak on the natural, cultural and historical treasures at all 56 Tennessee State Parks.

Vonore – Take a class on pine needle basketry with local artisan Tonya Dockery 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET and hear a free lecture by Pat Gang on the Cherokee Code Talkers during WWI 2-3 p.m. ET at Sequoyah Birthplace Museum.

Pigeon Forge – Celebrate World Storytelling Day with the Smoky Mountain Storytellers at a storytelling event 6-7:30 p.m. ET March 18 at Vienna Coffee House and 2-4 p.m. ET March 19 at Tribute Theater.

Memphis – Iris: City of Song presents classical works by Rossini, Brahms and Donizetti 2-3 p.m. CT at Germantown Performing Arts Center.

March 19-April 9

Pigeon Forge – Dollywood’s Festival of Nations hosts more than 200 performers from around the world celebrating music, dance and art at Dollywood.

March 21

Monterey – Join Dr. Jim Coliz for tea and talk as he leads the Novel-Tea Series 2 p.m. CT at the Monterey Depot Museum. Featuring the work of Mary Murfree, the discussion will cover one of her mischievous short stories.

Pigeon Forge – A Mountain Quiltfest welcomes quilters from around the nation for classes and a quilt show at one of the largest shows of its kind in the U.S. at Le Conte Event Center.

March 22

Memphis – Earth, Wind & Fire perform their iconic hits that have sold more than 90 million albums worldwide 7:30 p.m. CT at the Orpheum Theatre.

Memphis – Enjoy a performance by the Stax Music Academy as part of the Spring Concert Series 7 p.m. CT at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music.

Memphis – Gather to experience the premiere science fiction and fantasy convention at MidSouthCon 35 beginning 2 p.m. CT Friday through 5 p.m. CT Sunday at Hilton Memphis.

Cookeville – View the tiny model homes that have become a trending lifestyle as the Tiny House Road Show returns to Hyder-Burks Pavilion. The three-day event will highlight home construction, technology and purchase options.

Knoxville – The Big Ears Festival is a weekend of world-class musical performances and artistic creation in historic theaters, clubs, galleries and more at various locations in Knoxville.

Memphis – Riverdance – The 20th Anniversary World Tour brings the international Irish dance phenomenon to Memphis 8 p.m. CT March 242 p.m. CT and 8 p.m. CT March 25; and 1 p.m. CT March 26 at the Orpheum Theatre.
