Teams Still Available To Play In Project Access Golf Classic

  • Friday, March 17, 2017
The 2nd Annual Project Access Golf Classic will be held on Monday, April 10. A 1 p.m. shotgun start kicks off the event at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. All proceeds from the Golf Classic go to support Project Access, a physician-led program that provides donated specialty medical care to low-income residents without medical insurance.

Each golfer will receive a round of golf at the Chattanooga Golf and Country Club, complimentary range balls, use of practice facilities, a boxed lunch, and other gifts.
Golfers can register by visiting www.chattmd.org.  The cost for an Individual Player is $200 and a 4-Member Team is $800.

Project Access is a collaboration of more than 900 physicians, the CHI Memorial, Erlanger, Parkridge, Siskin, and Kindred hospital systems, 14 area community health centers and more than a dozen additional health care related organizations and businesses. Project Access physicians provide specialty medical care at no cost to patients who meet enrollment qualifications. Since its inception in 2004, Project Access has donated health care services to more than 14,800 patients, with those services valued at more than $153 million.

The Project Access Golf Classic began in 2016 as the senior project of Baylor students Brandon and Dustin Johnson, sons of Dr. and Mrs. Darrell Johnson. "The Medical Foundation is proud to continue Brandon and Dustin’s vision and host the Project Access Golf Classic 2017," officials said.

Sponsorship opportunities for the Project Access Golf Classic are still available. Contact Kevin Lusk at 423-622-2872 or kevin@chattmd.org for more information.
