Tommy Lee Cox, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, in a local hospital.
Mr. Cox was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the owner of Cox Motor Company. He attended Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, boating and going to church.
His parents, T.J. and Velma Cox preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Richard (Renee) Cox, Ronnie (Carolyn) Cox, Brenda (Lamar) Freeman, and Bobby (Linda) Cox; sister, Patsy Croft; brothers, Paul Cox, Michael (Denise) Cox, and Terry (Jodi) Cox; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, beginning at 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
