Frothy Monkey Opening In Choo Choo By STIR; New Thai Restaurant Set For Shallowford Road And Lee Highway

Two new restaurants will be launched in Chattanooga.

 

They were issued beer licenses at the meeting Thursday of the City Beer Board.

 

Frothy Monkey will be opening at 1400 Market St. in the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The owners already operate several locations in Nashville. It is a full food service restaurant that is billed as a breakfast through dinner coffee shop, with just five to 10 percent of sales being from alcohol.

 

It is located of the lobby by STIR, and will have an entrance from the lobby as well as from the street.

 

Mikado Thai Esan, 7003 Lee Highway, will be opening as a restaurant serving Thai food at the corner of Shallowford Road and Lee Highway.

 

The owners operate two other restaurants in Jacksonville, Fla.
