Evelyn Patricia Owelle, 12, passed away on February 26, 2017 in Montesson, France. She was a student at Lycee International and Ermitage International School of France. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lenion Jacobs, IDE Frank Owelle, and her aunt, Margaret Murphy. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Evelyn Jacobs and Dr. Patrick Owelle, of Paris, France; sister, Ryan Owelle of Atlanta, GA; grandparents, Mary Jacobs of Chattanooga; Cecelia Owelle of Lagos, Nigeria; aunts, Beverly (Byron) King of Lawrenceville, GA, Mary Owelle, Theresa Nwaneri, Celia Ozuzu and Uchenna Ihejirika; uncles, Joseph, Frank and Chuka Owelle; Ronnie Murphy; cousins, Breona, Bria and Brielle; devoted nanny, Miriam Wanjika Muchangi, and a host of other relatives and friends in the United States and abroad.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m.  on Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the funeral home chapel. 

 

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, March 23, at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, at 4801 Highway 58, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416, with Pastor Ternae Jordan, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
