Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union To Host Career Fair

  • Wednesday, March 22, 2017

Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU) is growing and will host a hands-on career fair on Thursday, March 30, from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Brainerd Crossroads-BX to help fill current vacancies and newly-created positions.

TVFCU, the area’s largest credit union, is seeking service-driven, results-oriented individuals to fill full- and part-time branch operations positions at various locations throughout the credit union’s service area. During the career fair, candidates will have the opportunity to interact directly with TVFCU’s recruitment team. Candidates can expect to work together through role-play, engage in work-related discussions and have a one-on-one interview with a member of the recruitment team.

Positions vary from entry-level to more seasoned roles. All candidates must register online at tvfcu.com/careerfair by midnight on Tuesday, March 28. Registration is limited to the first 40 qualified applicants. Qualified applicants will receive a confirmation email with more detailed instructions.

“The addition of interactive teller technology to several of our branch drive-thrus has driven quite a bit of our growth,” said Valerie Gifford, TVFCU senior vice president of retail operations. “But a bulk of our growth is from increased demand. More people throughout the Tennessee Valley are coming to us for their financial needs. The career fair is to help us identify more service-oriented team members to help us better meet the needs of our growing membership.”

Established in 1936, TVFCU is headquartered in downtown Chattanooga and has 17 branches throughout its 13-county service area in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia.

“This is the first time that we have hosted such an interactive, hands-on career fair,” said Susan Dietz, TVFCU recruiting and training manager. “We are excited that the candidates will be able to meet one-on-one with our recruiting team, learn more about TVFCU and see if they are a fit.”
